Granadilla considered by many as the best of the passion fruit family, is a globe-shaped fruit with a hard crust - almost spherical in shape. The skin is of an orange color and its pulp is very juicy, with a gelatinous texture, sweet and very aromatic. It contains a variety of black seeds, which are edible. This fruit is native to tropical South America, and it is grown from northern Argentina to Mexico. It can be eaten fresh, as dessert or together with other fruits in salads.
