Grapes are a fleshy rounded fruit that grows in bunches composed of many fruits. The pulp is white or purple and has a sweet taste. They are consumed as fresh fruit or juice and much of their harvest is used in the production of wines and musts, while oil is extracted from their seed kernel. They contain various minerals and vitamins, and are thought to have antioxidant and anticancer qualities.
Grapes make an exceptional table fruit, besides being able to be combined with other fruits in salads.
